As one of the best young offensive rookies for Dallas Cowboys, Felix Jones has been great a compliment to Marion Barber in the back field.
Unfortunately, Jones rookie campaign has come to an end as he is now out for the season with an injury to his big left toe. Being out since October 12th with a hamstring injury, Jones was sorely missed in an offense and a team for that matter that has been plagued with injuries all season long.
In just six games in his rookie season, Jones rushed for 266 yards and three touchdowns. Not only was Jones a huge threat coming out the backfield with his tremendous speed, but he also had some success returning kickoffs averaging 27.1 yards average and running back a 98 yard touchdown.
The Cowboys haven't exactly lived up to there Super Bowl expectations thus far, but after Tony Romo return in week 11 and Dallas beat NFC East rival Washington Redskins the Cowboys have a good chance of salvaging the season. A big part of their win over the Redskins in week 11 was due to Marion Barber game breaking performance. Barber continues to show that he is a prime time type back in the NFL.
